About Me

Currently I am a R&D Dev/Ops Engineer at the Children's National Hospital bringing cutting edge AI technologies into healthcare diagnosis.

Howdy!

Robert Frost's iconic poem, "The Road Not Taken", has been a guiding inspiration in my life. Its theme of choosing "the road less traveled" resonates deeply with my approach to both personal and professional decisions. I constantly seek the "divergence" in life, embracing unique paths to make a meaningful impact.

As an R&D DevOps Engineer at Children's National Hospital, I specialize in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to advance pediatric healthcare. My work spans critical areas, including MRI harmonization, brain tumor segmentation, federated learning, and the development of foundation models. By intersecting these fields, I strive to solve complex healthcare challenges with cutting-edge solutions.

With a Master’s in Computational Science and Engineering, focusing on Deep Learning for Computer Vision from the Technical University of Munich, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to my projects. During my tenure at deepc GmbH, I gained hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems for medical imaging, scaling deep learning applications to meet real-world demands. My master’s research focused on improving data efficiency for semantic segmentation and optimizing processes for automated insurance claims at Allianz. These experiences fueled my ongoing exploration of few-shot learning and meta-learning applications.

Beyond research, I am passionate about making AI accessible worldwide trough initiatives like Odisha.AI. Through web applications, hackathons, and collaborative projects, I contribute to the democratization of technology. When not immersed in AI, I indulge in my love for travel and fascination with aviation. A voracious reader of non-fiction, I also enjoy exploring political drama series and occasionally try my hand at writing poetry.

The Story of Inequality

A friend of mine and I, once had a discussion on how an egoistic society based on currency can never really have parity between men in any form. I rooted for the topic while he was on the opposite spectrum...

How to “Triumph at School”, while not “flunking in life”?

All of us strive hard to do well in schools and colleges for a pretty well stated reason because, as we’re often told, it is the primary path to doing well in life. A few of us are fawning over A+ grades or 100/100, as we are understandably fascinated in having a fulfilling career, a large bungalow and large number of people who respect us and aspire to be like us...
